"I am here to support you and your loved ones every step of the way"
"Bringing love and dignity,
providing compassion and honour
to those in their final moments"
'The compassion, love, care and support we offer during the final stages of life are some of the most meaningful and cherished
gifts we can give to each other'
My name is Nicola, I am deeply honoured, and it is truly a privilege to walk alongside others as an
End-of-Life Doula,
Transition Guide and Celebrant.
My journey into this sacred work began from a deep calling to support individuals and families, offering comfort and guidance through one of life's most
profound transitions.
With over 30 years of experience in the Health, Holistic, and Wellness Industries, my background in Complementary Therapies, Life Coaching, Spiritual Care, and Volunteering has shaped not only my professional skills but also my compassionate and
heartfelt approach to care.
Living in the New Forest, I cover the local areas of Hampshire and Dorset, and I am also happy to travel further afield.
I consider it a true gift to walk alongside and accompany individuals as they navigate their final chapter of life.
Providing emotional, spiritual, and practical support that honours each person’s
unique wishes, needs, and values.
As a qualified End of Life Doula and Celebrant, my role is to listen deeply, offer guidance, provide Holistic & Spiritual End of Life care, while creating a space where peace and acceptance can unfold.
I offer compassionate support before, during, and after death. Whether it's sitting by your bedside, attending appointments, listening, or simply sharing a quiet moment, I will be there to support you.
For families, I strive to be a calming, supportive presence, offering comfort and understanding during what can be an incredibly tender and vulnerable time.
I am deeply committed to supporting
those facing the end of life.
I believe in changing the way we view death, embracing it as a natural part of life.
By talking openly, acknowledging its presence, and helping to prepare for it,
we can approach it with greater peace.
I have come to understand how vital it is to listen with compassion and guide others through this journey, offering comfort and helping others to feel
ready for what lies ahead.
My purpose is to support individuals and families in receiving compassion and love
as they navigate their final days.
I am passionate about providing truly holistic care at the end of life, attending to not only physical needs but also the emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being of the dying and their loved ones.
I am drawn to this deeply emotional and sensitive time when a life ends, understanding that although it is a time of indescribable sadness, there also exists moments of emotional and spiritual healing and unconditional love.
I believe that death, like birth, is a sacred passage deserving of deep respect and care. I offer guidance, knowledge, and resources to help you support someone you love through this journey, both
emotionally and practically.
I will be there to support you.
My approach is rooted in the belief that every person has the right to a transition
that reflects who they are and
how they have lived.
This means creating and holding a space for individuals, ensuring that they feel empowered, and they are able to express their desires, ensuring they are heard, supported, and surrounded by love as they approach their final days.
For me, end-of-life care is about more than just easing physical discomfort—it is about supporting emotional, spiritual and psychological needs of both the individual and their loved ones.
I encourage open conversations about death and dying, helping to remove the
stigma and creating opportunities for understanding, forgiveness, acceptance, healing and closure.
I also believe in honouring the grief process, recognising that it is as unique as the person who is dying, and the loved ones
left behind who are grieving.
In all that I do, I am committed to being a compassionate presence, offering both the practical and emotional support needed to navigate and guide this journey with
grace, peace, and dignity.
An End of Life Doula & Transition Guide is a holistic, non-medical companion who offers advice, guidance, comfort and support to those at the end of life.
Providing holistic support tailored to the dying person's needs. Offering gentle therapeutic therapies to provide comfort, ease anxiety and pain, helping to nurture a peaceful and gentle passing.
End of Life Doulas often begin their work from the moment of diagnosis and continue helping individuals live fully until the end. Maintaining a loving vigil, creating a sacred, healing space, while recognising the unique needs of each person.
Offering support to loved ones and families, guiding them throughout the journey.
While we all must face death, the quality of that experience varies. While we hope to pass away pain-free, at home, surrounded by loved ones, this is often not the reality, deaths are frequently
clinical and impersonal.
End of Life Doulas strive to make death a more dignified, peaceful, and
compassionate experience.
In many traditional cultures, death is viewed as a significant rite of passage, a
spiritual journey.
End of Life Doulas incorporate ancient practices into today’s world, helping ease the transition for those nearing death.
They provide loving companionship to the dying and their families, offering their services in homes, hospitals, and hospices.

As an End of Life Doula, my role is to provide compassionate, personalised support, comfort and peace during one of life’s most challenging transitions.
How I can help:
Provide Emotional & Spiritual Support
I offer a comforting presence, helping individuals and families navigate the emotional and spiritual
aspects of dying.
I am here to deeply listen, provide reassurance, and facilitate meaningful conversations, ensuring that those facing the end of life feel heard,
understood, and supported.
Support with Planning & Preparation
Together with the person and their family, I help plan for the final stages of life, including practical details such as:
Advance Care Directives
Legacy Projects
Wishes & Personal requests for the
end-of-life experience
My goal is to reduce stress, anxiety or fear
by ensuring everything is prepared
according to their preferences.
Create a Peaceful Environment
I focus on creating a calm, tranquil and loving atmosphere for the individual, whether at home, in a hospice, or another care setting.
I can help organise the space to
reflect their wishes—
adding soothing elements such as
music, scent, and lighting.
Holistic, Comforting Therapies
Using non-medical techniques such as gentle massage, touch, guided visualisation & meditation, sound and breathwork, I aim to alleviate anxiety and promote comfort. These approaches help ease the mind and body, making the journey of transition
more peaceful and comfortable.
Vigil at the End of Life
I offer continuous support during the final hours, keeping a loving vigil at the bedside. Whether it's being present in silence or offering comfort through words or touch.
I am there to provide a peaceful presence so the person does not have to die alone.
Support for Loved Ones
I am here for families and loved ones as well, offering emotional support, answering questions, and providing guidance on what to expect at the different stages along their loved one's journey.
I can help facilitate conversations about grief and the process of letting go, ensuring families feel comforted and supported throughout the journey.
Legacy Projects
If desired, I can assist in creating a legacy that the individual leaves behind—whether this is through writing, video messages, memory boxes, or other creative projects. These can be a beautiful way for individuals to reflect on their life and leave something meaningful for their loved ones.
Grief Support & Aftercare
My care does not end when life does.
I offer grief support for the family, providing a compassionate presence as they process the journey they have been on and their loss. I can also help with memorial planning or suggest resources for ongoing support after their loved one has passed.
In all I do, my goal is to honour the
wishes of the dying person and provide
care that allows them to pass with
dignity, peace, and love.
I am here to walk with them and their families through this profound journey, offering guidance, comfort, and compassion every step of the way.
If you are seeking a Funeral Celebrant in the New Forest, Hampshire or Dorset area, I want to begin by expressing my deepest condolences for your recent loss.
Losing someone we love dearly is an incredibly heart-wrenching experience, a painful experience, and my
heart reaches out to you and your
family during this difficult time.
Acknowledging and honouring the life of someone we cherish and hold dear makes it so very difficult to say farewell, it is a poignant part of the human journey,
a profound and emotional
step in the grieving process.
While we all must face the reality of saying goodbye, it does not lessen the deep sorrow or the love we carry for them.
The bond we share with our loved ones shifts from presence to memory, but they remain in our hearts forever, and the cherished moments we spent together become treasured keepsakes.
Saying a final goodbye is one of the hardest, yet most important, parts of adjusting to
this new chapter of life.
As a Celebrant, I take utmost care in creating bespoke, personalised ceremonies that are deeply personal and tailored to reflect your loved one's unique spirit.
I take great pride in truly listening
and capturing the tiniest of details.
Every story, every detail you share helps me to design a unique service that reflects the values, beliefs, and personality of your loved one, creating a ceremony that is both beautiful and meaningful, in a way that he or she wished to be remembered.
The service can be anything you wish for – my ultimate goal is to help you, and your family create a service, a tribute that truly honours the life and wishes of
your dearly departed.
As a funeral celebrant, my role is to help families create a deeply personalised and meaningful farewell for their loved ones.
I work closely with families to understand the unique life story, values, and wishes of loved ones who have recently passed, ensuring that the ceremony
reflects who they truly were.
I will help you craft a meaningful funeral or celebration of life—choosing the right words and creating a service that truly reflects
your loved one.
I will be there to support you.
Create & Deliver Personalised Ceremonies
I spend time getting to know the family, gathering memories, important details, amusing and interesting stories about the person who has passed.
I design a customised, heartfelt service that is a true reflection of their life, whether informal, formal or somewhere in between.
Offer Flexibility
I can create ceremonies for incorporating what feels right for the family, whether that’s poetry, reading, scripture, music, or personal tributes, ensuring the service resonates with everyone.
Write and Deliver Eulogies & Tributes
One of the key aspects of my role is crafting and delivering eulogies.
I take great care to put together a unique, bespoke tribute that honours the life
and personality of the deceased.
For families who find it too difficult to speak during the service, I can act as their voice, delivering a compassionate and heartfelt message on their behalf.
Provide Family Support, Assisting with
